However, the shelter is located in the back of the building. One can either drive around to the back, or go to the entrance along Spring Valley Ln. The door to the shelter is close to the corner of the building, to the left of the air conditioner unit, but is not marked. There will be coolers outside the shelter door to deposit the food so you do not need to enter the shelter. If other drop-off arrangements are necessary or if you have any questions, please contact Shari Steinberg at 404-556-4717 or sharisteinberg1@gmail.com

If you are interested in signing up, please contact Emma Burns at eburns@rebeccastent.org.
We are seeking a volunteer to facilitate a financial skills class once a month for 45-60 minutes. The focus will be on credit building or rebuilding, budgeting and financial counseling. The volunteer would benefit from having a finance background and experience with coaching and teaching financial fitness, but this is not necessary. We serve homeless women who are in the process of transitioning from homelessness to stable, permanent housing. The majority of the residents have no income or limited income with the exception of a few who work. They may have very limited knowledge of finance. For the 2020-2021 season, these sessions will be run virtually.
Consider signing up to be a Fundraising Volunteer. There are many fundraising ideas and opportunities available. Friends and family will be really supportive of your goals include them in your plans as much as possible. Not everyone has the opportunity to volunteer themselves, friends and family will be eager to help in any way they can. Many small donations will soon add up.Another option is having a local business offer to donate a percentage of its profits on a specified day to Rebecca's Tent. Promise the business owner you will get as many people as you can to their business on the specified day and we will promote the event on the Rebecca's Tent website, Facebook page, and through a mass email.
